Fluffy French Toast with Honey, Berries and Banana
Indulge in the ultimate breakfast delight with this rich and custardy French toast crisped to perfection and topped with honey, berries and slices of banana.

1 large bowl
1 large frying pan
- 4 pieces of brioche bread about 2-2.5cm thick
- 1 egg beaten
- 250 ml milk
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 50 g butter
For toppings:
- 1/3 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/3 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 banana sliced
- Raw honey
Beat the egg and whisk in the milk, cinnamon and vanilla extract.
Dredge the bread pieces into the mixture one by one. Take your time to make sure the brioche has soaked up enough mixture to moisten through. Heat a large frying pan to medium.
Melt the butter and fry the toasts for a few of minutes on each site until they turn golden brown.
Serve warm topped with fresh berries, sliced banana and a drizzle of honey.
